Almond milk
Hey.
Thur, 30th April 2020
Another great day for being able to breathe and to live a new day. I've been busy for the past few weeks, helping out my mom to take care of grandma who is not in a good state of health. However, since yesterday she started to recover way faster than we expected. Well, this is what we're praying for so long. I can't bear to see Mom not able to sleep at night since my grandma's bad habit came past midnight. Mom also met the doctor and he prescribed sleeping pills for grandma since she had a nightmare and sometimes was disturbed by 'something' that only she can see ( psst don't ask me what was that, I absolutely have no idea) I wouldn't say it is a ghost, but rather a restless spirit who had things to do with those people who came to visit my grandma for the past week.
This is a mere assumption made by my sister and me since she never acts this strange before, as much as I ever think of it.
Well, let's put that aside. I actually have a simple recipe to drop here. I kind of like it very much but believe me, I did not leave it long enough in the fridge to experience any smelly smell. Bear in mind that your homemade food cannot stay longer than the usual food that you purchase from the store, they added preservatives obviously. But there is another twist, your homemade food is way healthier than ready-made because you control what suit your body well.
I have my personal health condition, to begin with.
Therefore, I try to eat according to only GERD-safe foods. I'm not really strict though, but I've been tracking on my daily food intake since the first of Ramadhan, 24th April until now. Well at least not to trigger my reflux right after iftar (breaking fast), but it happens once in a while.
Here is my almond milk homemade that I recently did for my overnight oats which I will share the recipe on my next post. It turned out great and I made plain almond milk from raw almond.
Enjoy!
